The Ahıska area, with its strategic importance for many countries, has a distinct value beyond the strategic importance for Turkey. Having a treasure story of people who have been separated from themselves by a border line should be more important issue than its political, social, economic, geopolitical and cultural influence. The destiny of Muslim Turks living in Ahıska has changed since the XIX. century is the same with other peoples living in the Caucasus. It is rewarding that extensive research has been conducted on some of these peoples who have experienced similar processes. Although verbal and written history studies have been put forward about the lives of the Ahıska Turks, the inadequacy of the studies prepared in the light of the documents has created the idea that we should work in this subject. The history of the Ahıska Turks, the reasons of being forced for migration, the duration of their arriving into the Anatolian soil and after that ret lives in was examined in the light of archival documents.
