Dr. Cafer GARİPERThe main aims of the study are imaginary reality, magical reality and obtain themeaning of the fantastic words by clarifying the types of fantastic progress andcharecteristics to present this information to the specialists of New Turkish Literature.This thesis consists of two chapters. In the first chapter reality, imaginary realityand magical reality had been darified, the type of concept and word of fantastic,composing of the works which had fantastic characteristic, the process of short historyand progress, the peculiarity of fantastic were presented as a type of literary. Afterexplaining the relation between imaginary reality and fantastic, Nazlı Eray’s (1945)works were studied. In this chapter it was examined that the author of perception andreflection of her phony world, while she was composing of this phony world, sheexplained the contact with the world, the distance between them and the elements thatshe used (fairytale dream, aspiration, fantasy, time and place, the elements of the livingwords and the techniques) Fantastic, utopian, science fiction and detective elementswhich had a role in forming this phony world were completed by considering post-modern elements.Her story and novels which participated in our literature with the fantasticreality and explained the mystical and imaginary world of fantastic reality wereexamined with the theoretical knowledge in the first chapter. In the begining of thestudy index cards were prepared by scanning different libraries. The books which hadfantastic elements were determined by searching the people’s works who studied onfantastic. Short knowledges about the fantastic works in Turkish and World Literaturewere presented with the types of characteristics.Key words: Reality, Fiction, Fantastic, İmaginary Reality, Magical Reality, Nazlı Eray. | |||
